4 Delicious Summer Snacks

Let’s not forget the food. After a long summer trip, you will end up finding something to eat. The last thing you want to do is spend all your time in a hot kitchen. You can make or cook delicious foods which are so easy to do. These fast and easy summer snacks are perfect for this summer.

Choco Avocado Frosty
It’s so perfect in summer because it is cold. It is also creamy and tasty. It is also a healthy snack for this summer.choco avocado frosty


  • 1/2 cup of frozen banana slices
  • 1 cup of chocolate milk {I used Horizon 1% chocolate milk}
  • 1/2 avocado


  1. Place everything into the jar of a blender
  2. Cover and pulse until smooth
  3. Pour into glass, and freeze at least 45 minutes

No-Bake Granola Bars

You don’t need to cook these granola bars. Even if you can’t cook, you can make them.granola bars

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup agave
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • dark chocolate chips
  • Nutella


  1. Spray an 8×8″ dish with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 325º F.
  2. On a baking sheet, spread out oats, coconut and almonds.
  3. Place in the oven and toast for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown (not burned!).
  4. In the meantime, combine the brown sugar, agave, coconut oil, vanilla and salt in a medium sized saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the brown sugar has completely dissolved.
  5. Pour toasted oat mixture into saucepan with brown sugar mixture and stir together until every morsel is coated and combined.
  6. Pour into prepared baking dish and press down so it’s even on top and push down to make it stay together. Let cool completely.
  7. When cooled, cut into bars. Melt some dark chocolate chip in a small bowl. Stir and then add in some Nutella (I eyeballed the measurements). Lightly drizzle over granola bars

This is the easiest popsicle recipe in the history. All you need to do is to slice the watermelon and put some popsicle sticks to it.watermelon

BBQ Ribs

This is also a great recipe for lunch and dinner. These can be done with baby back or regular pork ribs.bbq ribs


  • 4 lbs pork ribs
  • 3⁄4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon ground red pepper (optional)
  • 2 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce


  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees f.
  2. Peel off tough membrane that covers the bony side of the ribs.
  3. Mix together the sugar and spices to make the rub.
  4. Apply rub to ribs on all sides.
  5. Lay ribs on two layers of foil, shiny side out and meaty side down.
  6. Lay two layers of foil on top of ribs and roll and crimp edges tightly, edges facing up to seal.
  7. Place on baking sheet and bake for 2-2 1/2 hours or until meat is starting to shrink away from the ends of the bone.
  8. Remove from oven.
  9. Heat broiler.
  10. Cut ribs into serving sized portions of 2 or 3 ribs.
  11. Arrange on broiler pan, bony side up.
  12. Brush on sauce.
  13. Broil for 1 or 2 minutes until sauce is cooked on and bubbly.
  14. Turn ribs over.
  15. Repeat on other side.
  16. Alternately, you can grill the ribs on your grill to cook on the sauce.
